German Motor Behavior Conference

Osnabrück meets Bremen – At the annual conference of the Motor Behavior Section of the German Society of Sport Science, we were present with both the previous and the future lab members.

We organized two symposia, gave three talks, and contributed to the panel discussion: In our imagery symposium, Dr. Andrea Polzien shared her insights on how learning by imagery is influenced by prior experience from a similar task, while I was talking about learning effects with and without experience in the same task. Sophia Ryll presented results from her Master thesis, a systematic review on motor learning in Virtual Reality (VR) as part of our second symposium on VR.

During the section’s assembly, Prof. Dr. Cornelia Frank was elected as member of the section’s advisory board.

We very much enjoyed our time in Munich, many thanks for organizing this great event to Prof. Dr. Joachim Hermsdörfer, Prof. Dr. David Franklin and their groups!
